Key Responsibilities: - Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom activities - Support individual and small group student learning, adapting instruction as needed - Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment - Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources - Monitor student behavior and provide feedback to teachers - Collaborate with educators and staff to support student development and achievement Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Experience working as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role within K-12 settings - Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Patience, flexibility, and commitment to fostering student success - Familiarity with instructional strategies and accommodations for diverse learners is preferred - Relevant certification or training as required by state educational standards Location: - Long Beach, California, serving K-12 students This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to student growth and learning in a supportive school environment.
