  • Promote a safe working environment.
  • Owner in the ongoing Maintenance & Reliability process & embrace the needed change to improve
  • Promote proactive culture/environment
  • Meet daily to review workload
  • Use SAP correctly
  • Complete PM work orders & follow ups as needed
  • Make recommendations & suggestions to management for improvements
  • Follow all Cargill policies
  • Provide support to the Maintenance team and Shift Supervisor
  • Communication with Operations, FSQR and Safety
  • Track W/O completion
  • Ability to utilize measuring devices, read/write, basic math
  • Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical functions or have the aptitude to learn
  • Safety knowledge to include permit procedures, hazardous chemicals, and process safety Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and CMMS software
  • Assist in Troubleshoot electrical issues
    Required Qualifications
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Ability to use computers and a computerized maintenance management control system (SAP)
    • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
    • Ability to breakdown and setup various food processing equipment
    • 1 or more years or experience in maintenance in food manufacturing, animal protein industry or Industrial Mechanic field, or 1 or more years of experience as a production operator/technician/Lead, with the ability to learn additional maintenance tasks/skills
