Job Description CNC Machinist This position is responsible for
setting up and operating the CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled)
Multi-Axis machines, Vertical/Gantry/Horizontal rotary (4th) axis
mills, CC Lathes/Routers and/or 5 axis Core mills. Who are we?

operation of 3 and 4 Axis CNC milling machines, manual
machining/honing/grinding equipment, for production/fabrication of
precision machine parts \n Sets up machines, adjusts, verifies part
conformity to blue print/specification and operates machines to
perform a series of progressive machining operations to close and
exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring
considerable skill and knowledge of machining techniques and
methods \n Capable of independently selecting proper tools for set
up and operation of Multi-Axis CNC equipment and a variety of
manual/automatic machines \n When qualified by experience to
operate 4th Axis Horizontal/Gantry milling equipment, may operate 5
axis core mills with assistance and guidance from area leads \n
When qualified by experience to operate 5 axis core mills, may
operate 4-axis horizontal's or CNC lathes with assistance and
guidance from area leads \n Sets up all tools, performs related
bench work and verifies part conformity using precision measuring
equipment as required \n Set up machines with furnished jigs and
fixtures to machine production parts \n May operate multiple
machines \n Performs SPC (Statistical Process Control) charting as
required \n Assists area leads in process debug, providing
potential solutions to common machining problems \n Provides input
to area lead/supervisor regarding processes that are not capable
for either quality or production effectiveness \n Reads/follows
shop order/planning instructions, maintains material traceability
and performs written entries into shop orders, as required by
planning and company procedures \n Records entries into Machine
Event Logs, reflecting actions taken during machining operations,
or providing information for following shifts \n Will transact
operation movements in CinCom for jobs worked/completed \n
Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous
waste generated in their work area. \n Performs other duties as
assigned including leading projects and participation in project
committees \n \n Required Skills and Qualifications Efficient use
of CNC Multi-Axis machines, CNC Lathes/Routers and/or 5 axis Core
mills \n Demonstrated use of manual machining/honing/grinding
equipment \n Capable of independently selecting proper tools for
set up and operation of Multi-Axis CNC equipment and a variety of
manual/automatic machines \n Proficient ability to read/understand
blue print/specifications Required Experience and Education \n H.S.
Diploma or GED \n Manufacturing environment \n Ability to wear
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and
fully enclosed steel or composite toe shoes while in all
manufacturing areas. Hearing protection and hard hat in certain
manufacturing areas. \n Noise level is usually moderate \n Employee
will comply with all applicable ISO procedures (ISO 9001, 14001) \n
\n Base Compensation: USD 20.00 - 29.00 Paid Hourly Equal
