Job Description:
Identify security vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation to
reduce residual riskDocument and articulate the patch environment
through detailed design document and implementation plansWorks to
develop and maintain operating system and application level
patching schedules and proceduresEnsures timely resolution of
problem issues in accordance with procedural documentationMonitor
and review report for vulnerability assessment and
remediationEngages with responsible owners to ensure patches are
applied in the established timeframeAssists with the development of
remediation procedures when patches cannot be appliedVerify that
systems, network and infrastructure meet baseline security
standards defined by the industryConsistently review established
policies and procedures, making recommendations for
change/improvement to the Vulnerability ManagerFamiliarity with
Mobile Device Management (MDM) via MaaS360, MS Intune and Apple
Deployment programResponsible for mobile device firmware
managementKnowledge, Skills Abilities RequiredCommunication
Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to
communicate effectively and project a professional image when
giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the
phone.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive
inquiries or customer complaints.Ability to make effective and
persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex
topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board
members.Reasoning Skills:Excellent analytical skills including the
ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw
conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical
instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several
abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills:Accurate
typing/keyboarding skills; advance computer skills, including the
use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and
e-mail.Job Qualifications/RequirementsPreferred: Bachelors Degree,
preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems, or
equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired:
Extensive application support and problem resolution
experienceRequired: Administration of deployment or patching tools
such as: WSUS, Quest KACE or other industry leading
tools.Preferred: Preference will be given to individuals with
scripting experience using PowerShellRequired: Experience working
with Group Policy AdministrationRequired: Working understanding of
virtual server infrastructure (VMWare), storage technologies, and
operating systemsRequired: Strong communication and documentation
skills. Must be able to plan and develop proposals, policies and
proceduresRequired: Ability to work in a team oriented, project
driven environment with multiple active tasks at any one
timePreferred: Prefer industry certifications such as CompTIA
Network+, CompTIA Sec+, MCSA, CCNAPreferred: Experience managing
other security professionals over large, campus style complexBank
