As the HR Manager you will be a key strategic partner for leadership and a valuable resource for team members. You will provide generalist Human Resources support for the FashionPass team. Whether through performance management, onboarding, or giving leaders and team members the guidance that they need to be successful, you will be a knowledgeable and committed resource. You'll make a positive impact on how team members experience organizational change, and you'll use information and close partnership with leaders to build the teams that achieve their specific business goals.

*Responsibilities: *

* Develop strong working relationships with employees at all levels to become a trusted advisor and key member of the team
* Act as a change agent and play an influential role as we grow and develop the FashionPass culture
* Manage full onboarding & offboarding process, including paperwork compliance, training, and providing insight into company culture and benefit & perks
* Coach managers on delivering effective and impactful performance management conversations and documentation
* Support management teams on organizational discussions and changes
* Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR plans to drive employee development and engagement as well as continued company growth
* Drive the continual development of HR programs such as retention, compensation, benefits, talent management, succession planning and L&D
* Manage training and development of managers and staff, including required state by state law Sexual Harassment training and company policies and processes
* Serve as an ambassador for company culture helping plan office activities, company events and implement new perks
* Answer employee questions not limited to: HR policy / procedure interpretation, time off, leave of absence, health insurance, etc.
* Manage bi-weekly payroll for all employees
* Manage health & safety for Gardena facility
* Work directly with leadership team for salary reviews through the company, along with benefit & perk packages
* Manage workers compensation claims and assist with annual workers compensation audit
* Act as an executive coach for leaders; hold a high bar for leadership values and behaviors
* Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles

*Skills/Qualifications: *

* 5+ years of previous HR experience
* Strong understating of HR operations and best practices including employee relations, performance management, compensation and recruitment
* Being bilingual is highly preferred (English/Spanish)
* Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws and regulations
* Creative thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong problem solving and influencing skills, a hands-on approach in working with management and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
* Demonstrated skill in coaching and counseling across a variety of employee populations and human resource issues
* Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Strong proficiency in Excel is required
