We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Sales Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in sales, who is looking to use their expertise to drive growth and success in a vibrant and fast-paced industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, leading a team of sales professionals, and working closely with other departments to achieve the company's sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations and finance departments to develop and implement strategies that drive sales growth.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and report to the senior management on sales performance and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
    • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of leading and motivating sales teams to achieve their targets.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
