Job Description:
1) Manage Sales ForceSet GoalsReview sales teamEnforce company
policyApprove time off/vacation/schedulingTrain/help with product
knowledgeMonitor Margins/drop size/gross profit per
order/accountsOversee national accountsSales liaison between
Worldwide Produce and Produce Alliance and NPCHelp Communicate
between departments2) Run/set up Sales meetings3) Monitor Market
Costs/Margins4) Overview of A/R for over 60 day accounts/lost
accounts5) Review new Accounts6) Review new products/product
movement7) Give out leads to Sales Force8) Play mediator on any
account
conflicts /splits9 Review territories/ areas of sales forceMonthly
Customer RebatesSales Meeting Agendas/coordinationSaturday Work
SchedulesInformation to sales force flyers/Recalls/specialsLiaison
with Vice President and handle all sales people requests first line
and funnel to appropriate peopleWork with Vice President/Buyers
Agenda/ Follow on buyers needs and Sales people requests from
buyersProduct Profiles/Pictures/Information for Produce Pro Web and
on-line orderingSales Report Card
Project/Analysis/sales/profitability/accounts/product lines etc (on
going)Work with Vendors and set schedules for Sales Meetings and
presentations/sampleLiaison with Vendors/Introduction of New
products/catalogues/SpecsMust be knowledgeable about all products
Worldwide distributes, and be aware of their customers product uses
and needs. Must complete and turn in a Customer Profile Form for
each potential customer to the Sales Department, and the customer s
credit application to the Accounting Department. Must attend a
semi-monthly sales meeting and be available, on a best efforts
basis, as the company requires, either at the corporate offices or
