Position Summary

The Audiologist tests, diagnoses, and provides solutions to clients with hearing, balance, and other problems related to the ears. They measure a person's ability to hear a range of sounds, their ability to differentiate between sounds, and evaluate difficulties with balance (which can be affected by problems in the ear). The audiologist records a client's data and then coordinates with the client and their other health care provider to determine the best possible treatment.

$20,000 Sign on bonus

Core Responsibilities

* Plan, conduct and coordinate all aspects of diagnostic assessments, evaluations, therapeutic and rehabilitative services for hearing and balance disorders.
* Conduct, plan and coordinate all clinical and administrative aspects of a full range of services associated with a contemporary audiology practice.
* Responsible for the adequacy of assessment and for reporting the findings to other professional workers with whom he/she works.
* Responsible for planning, conducting, coordinating and monitoring the effectiveness and clinical outcomes of patient centered treatment.
* Develops and implements an effective and comprehensive plan of care for hearing and balance disorders.
* Serve as a consultant to other facility personnel involving the most difficult and complex cases; serve as audiology subject matter expert.
* Complete all documentation in accordance with Veterans Affairs policy
* Perform other job-related duties as required.



* Master's degree in Audiology from a college/university accredited by the CCA-ASHA
* Au. D License in the state of jurisdiction
* Customarily at least one or more years of demonstrated audiologist experience
