Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Gardena,
California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU -
Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration:
13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type:
Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse
needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital
bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start
within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful
completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus
available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Adult Job Details: • Provide
critical care nursing for patients who have suffered heart attacks,
stroke, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe
medical issues • Assess patient conditions and plan and implement
comprehensive patient care plans • Treat wounds and provide
advanced life support interventions • Assist physicians during
medical procedures and treatments • Monitor and record patient
vital signs continuously • Ensure proper functioning of
ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment •
Adjust ventilators and IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) settings as
needed • Administer intravenous fluids and medications according to
physician orders • Perform suctioning procedures as required •
Collaborate effectively with critical care team members • Respond
to life-saving emergency situations using established nursing
standards and protocols • Act as patient advocate and provide
education and support to patient families • Care for pre- and
post-operative patients • Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
through the American Heart Association • Must possess active
California RN license • 2 positions available for vacant positions
