seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family
Therapist to join our team. (We are currently not looking for
MSW/ASW). This role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on
clinical experience in a supportive, trauma-informed environment.
Responsibilities include conducting individual, couples, family,
and group therapy sessions, maintaining accurate documentation, and
participating in supervision and team collaboration. This role
involves working collaboratively with clients to develop effective
treatment plans and utilizing various therapeutic techniques to
address emotional and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities
Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions,
focused on family dynamics, child development, and mental health
issues. Experience working with children is a plus Utilize
techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic
therapy, and motivational interviewing to facilitate improving
emotional intelligence and supporting recovery. Perform thorough
patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment
planning. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on
client needs Maintain accurate medical documentation, including
intake forms, progress notes, and treatment summaries in compliance
with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals, educators, and community resources to support
clients' needs. Requirements Master’s degree in Clinical
Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Registration as an
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate
Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) in the state of CA.
Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic
setting is preferred; not required. Familiarity with various
therapeutic modalities, including CBT/DBT, Solution-Focused
therapy, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, addiction counseling, and
other strategies. Ability to work effectively with individuals from
diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. Excellent communication
skills for effective collaboration with clients and
