Description ***To apply directly, please message Lisa Berube on Linkedin with your resume*** Functional Role: Data Analyst (Operations) Location: Los Angeles, CA *can be 100% remote* Salary Range: $70k-80k + benefits Top Requirements: --- Understand a data schema --- SQL --- Understand databases ...help you get access --- Maintain and make sure its usable --- Automation scripts (i.e. python, R) are less important for this role --- Predicting/analysis of dashboards --- Constructed Power BI visuals, stored procedures =very applicable --- Data Validation --- Interest in Operations/Business Process Management Required Experience: 1) Integrate and manage all existing/new data sources and be responsible for data integrity, accuracy and consistency --- Tracking data one service generates and integrating it with others (i.e. taking data engineering team's FedEx queries and integrating that into the overall view of everything else we track) 2) Research and properly evaluate sources of information to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability --- For ex) our tech team is rolling out an internal app for scanning with new data tables that will replace what we have in place today. This person would research what the new data table would look like and how it compared with the old, without any reliability issues, et. 3) Manage and design the data pipelines to provide designated schema and enable users with clean, straightforward data access --- Now that we have the data determined, how do we make it usable? Our FedEx data siloed isn't useful, but paired with Shopify, Shipstation (internal app), and the Looker platform (insert raw data tables to build data schemas and build out relationships). Take new data tables and integrate the into data scheme. When a user wants to know something we can pull from the source. Managing looker data schema (i.e. rule book that helps you when you want to pull data from varying sources to make it clean).
