Job Description:
Disney Streaming Services Web team is seeking a Lead Software
Engineer with a passion for developing performant, highly
available, consumer-facing experiences using modern web
technologies. Our team collaborates with both technical and
non-technical teams to deliver engaging experiences for our
subscribers. As a developer on the Web Identity team, you'll build
and deploy critical retention features used by millions of users.

:
Develop software & infrastructure
that powers the DisneyPlus.com, StarPlus.com, and Hulu.com identity
experienceSupport and mentor developers through code reviews,
knowledge-sharing, and technical leadershipAdvocate for best
practices across the web domainInterface with backend services to
broker service level agreements on behalf of webLead projects from
concept to launch, where you'll collaborate with Product Managers
to distill requirements into design and technical
specificationsBuild experiments to reduce churn on all disney
streaming platforms Partner with UX to transform mock-ups into
engaging, accessible web experiencesBasic Qualifications :
7+ years professional experience
developing large, well-tested JavaScript applicationsExpert
understanding of web technologies and the browser
environmentExcellent front-end debugging skillsOutstanding verbal
and written communication skillsPrevious experience being a mentor
to junior and senior developersPreferred Qualifications:
Shipping a highly available and
secure production React/Node.js applicationDevelop applications in
cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) that reached millions of users per
monthExperience working with Agile methodologiesExperience building
A/B testsWorking knowledge of web accessibility
fundamentalsRequired Education : BS degree in computer science or
equivalent work experienceAdditional Information : DISNEYTECH
