Job Description Position Overview: The Quality Inspector of
Electronics is responsible for ensuring process and product
conformity in the fields of soldering, pc board assembly, wire
harness assembly, final assembly, controller testing, and related
processes. This position provides backup support to the following
segments of the Quality Department: receiving, production,
generator testing, technical services, and procurement. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: Inspects products used throughout the
manufacturing process to ensure they conform to Polar Powers design
specifications and to manufacturers product specifications.
Approved product includes all material purchased from suppliers as
per Polar Powers engineering specifications. Document acceptance on
work instructions. Notify production supervisor of
non-conformances, provide immediate containment, segregate
non-conforming material, process through MRB, and provide RCCA.
Inspect and approves in-process production by confirming build to
design, and conformance to manufacturing work instructions.

design . Documents final verification that all manufacturing and
testing is completed. Inspect printed circuit board assemblies in
accordance with IPC-610 and/or J-STD requirements. Inspect wire
harness assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-620 requirements.
Inspect electronic assemblies and enclosures. Provide final
verification that testing is completed and documented by test
engineering. Provide required Quality Assurance support to
receiving, production, electrical assembly ,testing, technical
services, procurement, and shipping. Support the Material Review
Board ( MRB ) and Return Material Authorization Board (RMA)
process. Assist with inspection, investigations, and dispositions.
Originate internal and external corrective action requests and
ensure completion by due date. Support internal audits,
calibration, and special projects as required. Participate in
training and provide support for ISO2001:2015 and SAP.
Qualifications and skills: REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED
equivalent. AA and/or Certification for J-STD C or IPC-610C a plus.
Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a fast paced ,high
volume, manufacturing environment. Effective interpersonal and
organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage
time effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). Ability to
effectively communicate across all levels within the organization.
Basic knowledge of Engine Assembly and components a plus. Previous
work in an ISO9001:2015 /AS9100 and SAP environment a plus. Work
Environment: The physical demands described here are representative
of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform
the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in a
noisy environment. This position is very active and requires
standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching,
crawling, and climbing in an 8- hour period. The employee must
frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus. Production and warehouse environments.
