We are fueled by the talent, passion, anddiversityof our associates.The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the IT team in the design, development, and management of a scalable, reliable and cost-effective infrastructure and security platform. The scope of responsibility encompasses senior level support of the network and server infrastructure, systems and security administration. This person also possesses strong project management and vendor management experience in a service-oriented approach to infrastructure operations. This role reports directly to IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager but will interact with the management at all levels of the organization and information technology professionals to provide IT Services. The successful candidate will be a highly driven, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problemsRESPONSIBILITIES:Supports the national on-site and off-site network and hardware landscapeAdministers hands-on configuration and implementation of infrastructure upstarts, upgrades and ongoing maintenance along with the larger IT teamPlans, tests and installs applications, performs regular software and firmware upgrades, and routinely patches enterprise systemsManages a comprehensive 24--7 health monitoring of network and applications with software such as NagiosPerforms high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measureEnsures consistent reporting and tailors event logging in order to meet security and audit requirementsSupports and maintains IaaS services with experience with Microsoft AzureImplements and maintains backups, security, and redundancy strategiesAdministers O365 environmentCrafts custom scripts, reducing requirement of human interactionPrepares detailed hardware and labor and budget estimates for I&O projects and executes within time and budget constraintsBuilds and maintains technical documentation as it relates to I&O architecture projectsProvides senior level support for issue resolutionBuilds and maintains strong relationships with vendors and partnersPartners with the I&O IT team on reactive issue resolution and user supportFosters and grows internal relationships to develop operational solutions to business objectives and drives completion through user adoptionStays current on new technologies and platforms and provides direction on what emerging technologies should be implemented to enhance IT capabilities to meet business needsSupports the IT I&O compliance needs with applicable regulations and standards including but not limited to PCI DSS, PII, ISO 27001, and the NIST Cybersecurity FrameworkMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 6 years' of progressive experience in data center operations and infrastructure supportBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent experience preferredExperience in project managementTechnical knowledge and experience with computing platforms, managing servers, high availability, backup/recovery, operating systems, anti-malware, patching, e-mail, and associated security as well as storage platforms - storage arrays, controllers, fiber switches, and data replicationExperience with Dell servers, VMware Virtualization, Cisco Meraki Security Appliances and Switches, EMS Storage Systems, Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, Office 365 and Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL and MariaDBSecurity, Mobile Device Management, IDS, SIEM, and Anti-virus solutionsWSUS, Crowd Strike, Avaya IP Office, security certificates, domain registries and system monitoring tools preferredDeep understanding of current and emerging I&O technologies and methods (e.g. cloud technologies) and experience employing these technologiesProven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environmentsSuccess in leveraging traditional best practices such as ITSM, Dev Ops, Lean and other methods used to optimize agilitySelf-starter, motivated and takes initiative; strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; able to work collaboratively with all levels of staff to resolve problems and external partners to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and resultsImageFIRST employees are expected to:Be Respectful: Value all we come in contact withBe Remarkable: Create a positive moment with every interactionBe Safe: Keep ourselves and those around us safeBe Honest: Be guided by truthfulness in all we doBenefits:Competitive payMedical, Dental, Vision401k (match)Paid Time Off PackageGreat company cultureCollaborative team environmentEOE/Drug Free WorkforceImageFIRST is an Equal Opportunity employer.
