Job Profile Summary Responsible for providing project engineering expertise for delivering a substantial subset of a moderately complex project and directing contractors and for cross-discipline coordination with other project team members to drive integrated technical integrity of the project and to complete assigned work activities across all phases of the project are delivered in accordance with BP, HSSE, and ethical standards and in compliance with all relevant statutory requirements. You will be part of the biggest change in the automotive industry for a century and you will be at the forefront as we craft the EV charging markets globally The purpose of the US EV Hub Delivery Lead role is to play a key part in the EV roll out focused at EV fleet hubs throughout the US. Fleet and ride hail hubs are clustered EV chargers that will provide the infrastructure needed to electrify fleets that are both public facing and dedicated charging. The programme is focused on creating hubs in key cities across the US. The EV Hub Project Delivery Lead will work with other bp team members and 3rd party contractors to manage and support the delivery of these sites from appraisal to operate in key location across the US. Key Responsibilities: Play a key role in delivering the bp's externally committed target of 70,000 EV charging points by 2030. Lead the delivery of EV Hub site preparation, procurement, installation, construction and go live at key locations across the US. Build a standard execution model for EV hubs from site appraisal, network planning, procurement, installation, construction and commissioning/go-live. Support the head of the program with a EV Hub governance process both internally and externally - while managing the interface with key suppliers and installation contractors to deliver a great product in a safe and efficient manner. Lead performance management and reporting of near-term progress against long term targets. Lead the creation and own the EV roll out plan across the region. Own the EV Hub risk management process across each region. Coordinate key project management process to maintain the EV Hub roll out in an efficient and controlled manner. Maintain a close working relationship with each of regional FM&S execution teams to benefit from successes in other markets. Maintain a close working relationship with the EV Fleet Business Development Manager, the FM&S Partnership team, and other business leads to understand customer demand and site requirements. Manage cross-functional team to deliver each site in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure that feedback from customers at the site and business leads are heard and considered for future sites. Contribution to the development of annual plans and budgets, commercial input into yearly EFM requests to support the roll out of the program globally. Own the EV Hub Value Creation Program (VCP). Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree 5-10 years' experience in large scale project management Broad professional experience in engineering and project management delivery Sound knowledge of EV charging technology and detailed understanding of the operation and structures of charging networks and how they are integrated Direct experience of industry standards in the EV space Experience with utility interconnection standards and processes Considering Joining bp?
