COMPANY BACKGROUND:Silverline Construction earns a solid
reputation in California as a premier structural concrete
contractor. We specialize in above and below-grade (subterranean)
parking structures and concrete buildings and self-perform
structural concrete, reinforcing/post-tensioning cable, and
masonry.JOB DESCRIPTION The BIM Coordinator- Rebar Division is
responsible for project support to scrutinize and interpret
Architectural, Structural, Civil and, other disciplinary plans
provided for the project as needed. They must generate necessary
RFI's to complete project detailing. Project Detailed Documents are
to be used by the Field to be able to construct each project based
on Silverline's detailed reference documents known as "Shop
Drawings".ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Create Shop Drawings that include the
following: --- - - - - - - -Foundation/footing layout shows
elevations for both the top and bottom of the footing. Indicate any
steps, slopes, elevator pits, or, special conditions shown on
Architectural and Structural plans. --- - - - - - - -General
layouts for all floors/levels. Indicate and address wall types,
column types, depressions, beams, drop-caps, elevations, and
dimensions. --- - - - - - - -Include vertical plans. Indicate
column and wall heights starting from foundation/top of the
structural deck and either bottom of the slab, beam, drop-caps,
depressions, etc. --- - - - - - - -Generate sections and elevation
drawings. First and foremost are the exterior wall elevations which
are especially needed for structures with podium levels. --- - - -
- - - -Generate slab-on-grade saw cut layouts. These are necessary
for all projects and generally are a diamond-cut design.
Information regards to depth, width, and square footage
requirements of saw-cut areas are found in Structural drawings. If
they are not found, we must request this information. --- - - - - -
- -Shop Drawings are ultimately a fusion of Architectural,
Structural, and all other contract drawings.

conditions, or urgent circumstances. -KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: --- - -
- - - - -Prepare and model concrete structure for the assigned
project by incorporating information from projects drawings,
bulletins, sketches, RFI responses, shop drawings provided by other
trades, and coordinate drawing submittals with clients. --- - - - -
- - -Review and analyze project documents: identifying drawing and
specification conflict(s), insufficient information, and missing
dimensions, while contributing ideas to enhance project
productivity and cost-efficiency. --- - - - - - - -Attend project
meetings to resolve technical coordination issues and
initiate/track RFIs. --- - - - - - - -Review new bulletins and
change orders to identify/quantify changes and incorporate changes
into Silverline's project drawings. --- - - - - - - -Notify Project
Management of changes that may impact material and labor costs. ---
- - - - - - -Contribute to Operations' safety goals by identifying
and communicating potential hazards during detailing stage. --- - -
- - - - -Proactively work to enhance job-related skills and acquire
overall knowledge of Silverline forming and framing system through
study, training, and hands-on participation in project coordination
activities. --- - - - - - - -Perform special projects and completes
all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support
of the organization --- - - - - - - -Prepare Quantity Takeoffs (as
required) -POSITION REQUIREMENTS: --- - - - - - - -Completed
coursework in computer-aided drafting (CAD) or an equivalent
combination of training and experience. --- - - - - - - -One year
of experience reading Structural drawings and performing
computer-aided design utilizing Revit. --- - - - - - - -Strong
mathematical and visualization skills. --- - - - - - - -Advanced PC
skills; specifically, in a Windows environment, including
collecting and analyzing data in Excel, creating documents, and
preparing correspondence in Outlook and Word. --- - - - - - -
-Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks; with an
emphasis on thoroughness, attention to detail, and organizational
skills. --- - - - - - - -Strong communication and interpersonal
skills with the ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and
in writing to all levels of personnel. --- - - - - - - -Knowledge
of construction formwork systems, take-offs, and estimating
processes obtained from education or preferably industry experience
