Responsibilities
Keeping manufacturing documentation up to date on all items in
production
Ensuring that various levels of bills of material are documented in
each product's "build book"
Providing support for the development, testing, and implementation
of software applications used for document version control and
change request tracking
Working with Engineering, Material Planning, and Manufacturing
staff members to obtain information necessary to create complete
and accurate End-Item Data Packages that will accompany products
upon delivery to customers
Coordinating with outside vendors to ensure that they provide
adequate parts traceability on subassemblies sold to us.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read prints and specifications, and comprehend testing
requirements
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, bills of material,
and other documentation related to part traceability
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and set
priorities to meet deadlines is needed
Demonstrated computer proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
previous experience using ERP systems is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
Must demonstrate a high degree of organization, follow-through, and
attention to details
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and effective
interpersonal skills
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of operations or manufacturing-related work experience,
preferably in a high mix/low volume production environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial
Engineering, Business, or another relevant discipline, OR
additional equivalent experience, is necessary
S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security
clearance is required.
