Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Model Risk Analyst,
Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure model owner compliance with Model Risk Management procedures
and standards during model implementation and development
phases
Lead internal and external model validations, including stress
testing and back testing of various models
Prepare and present recommendations to the Bank's Risk Review
Council and assist in advancing the Model Risk governance
framework
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, MIS, Quantitative Finance,
Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a bank or financial institution focusing
on risk management practices
3+ years in developing and implementing quantitative models and
internal credit ratings
2+ years of programming experience in SQL and Python for data
manipulation and analysis
Functional knowledge of regulatory expectations in model
development and maintenance processes
